John Ndebugre: Top Ghanaian lawyer dies at 72

Renowned Lawyer and politician John Ndebugre has died, a family source has confirmed to dailymailgh.com

Ndebugre died in his home at Zebilla in the Upper East Region after a short illness, the source said.

Mr. Ndebugre had a stint with the Provisional National Defense Council (PNDC) ,then left them to join Peoples National Convention (PNC) -became party chairman and MP. He later switched camp to New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the lead up to 2016.

He served as former MP for Zebilla in the fourth parliament of the 4th Republic.

Known to be handling high profile cases in court he was Defense Lawyer for Anumwar Sadat Mohammed, the suspect linked to the alleged murder of Nana Kwadwo Afodour, the Asamponhene of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

He died at aged 72
