A five-member fact-finding committee constituted by the Ashanti Regional Security Council to look into the violent protest at the Krobea Asante Technical Institute has submitted its report.
The committee, chaired by Justice Samuel Obeng Diawuo, submitted the report to Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah on Wednesday (February 22).
The school was shut down after protesting students vandalized school property running into millions of cedis. Over 40 students were later arrested, charged, and arraigned.
Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah who received the report on behalf of the Regional Security Council said his outfit will study the report and ensure the implementation of its recommendations.
