Former President John Dramani Mahama is set to launch his campaign this Thursday as the opposition NDC searches for a flagbearer ahead of the 2024 polls.
Mr Mahama made this announcement in a Facebook post on Tuesday (February 28).
The John Mahama 2023 campaign launch dubbed “Building the Ghana we want together” will is expected to be held at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in the Volta Region, the party’s stronghold.
This comes after Mr Mahama picked nomination forms to contest the flagbearership race set to be held on May 13.
The former president is staging a comeback after he suffered a humiliating defeat in the 2016 and 2020 general elections.
