The Member of Parliament for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, Dr. John Kumah, is set to run unopposed in the New Patriotic Party parliamentary primaries.

As of the close of nominations on December 25, only the Deputy Finance Minister had submitted candidacy forms.

Electoral Area Coordinators and Polling Station Executives of the Ejisu constituency picked the forms on his behalf, emphasizing Dr. Kumah’s significant contributions and expressing confidence in his ability to bring substantial development to the constituency.

Pledging full support, they highlighted his unique role in fostering socioeconomic progress in the area.

The New Patriotic Party is organizing the parliamentary elections at constituencies with sitting MPs. The January 27 primaries will be the last internal election as the party gears up for the 2024 elections.
