Francis Owusu Akyaw, the main contender in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in the Juaben Constituency says he will launch a new quarterly initiative to strengthen ties with the constituents in the Ashanti Region town.

Dubbed the ‘MP’s Clinic’, this strategic move aims to foster direct engagement between the MP and the residents of Juaben, creating a platform for open communication and addressing community concerns.

The initiative, Owusu Akyaw says, comes at a crucial time when effective communication between elected representatives and their constituents is vital for good governance.

“By organizing these quarterly clinics, I intend to provide a dedicated space for my constituents to voice their opinions, share concerns, and discuss various matters affecting the community”, he told Kofi Appiah, host of Boss FM’s ‘Good Morning Boss’ on Tuesday(9 January).

“And this will not end there, I will personally embark on community tours and reach out to the people and ensure that the voices of the people of Juaben are heard. And that is why I need the delegates’ votes to make this happen”, he further stated.

Owusu Akyaw, who is tipped to win the parliamentary primaries is placed ‘Number 1’ ahead of the NPP’s parliamentary primaries. The polls which come off on 27 January, promises to be a keen competition that could end the political career of some sitting lawmakers.
