Portugal and France giants Sporting, Lyon set sights on Tariq Lamptey as top transfer target

Sporting CP Lisbon of Portugal are keen to sign Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey from English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion FC.

He has also attracted interest from French Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyon and who are desperate to sign him this winter according to Fabrizio Romano.

The full-back has struggled for playing time with the Premier League side Brighton and could get the chance to test the waters with another club.

The Black Stars defender played for Ghana in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar where he had few minutes to really shine. Official bids are yet to be placed for his services.
