The Patriotic Youth Alliance (PYA) has expressed admiration for Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu’s statesmanship as he gracefully relinquishes his role as the leader of the caucus.
The youth group, affiliated with the NPP, describes the move as a demonstration of uncommon political maturity.
Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu stepped down as leader of the Majority Caucus prompting a reshuffle of the frontbench in parliament. The governing NPP named Effutu MP Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin to take up the role.
Commending his sacrifice for party unity, PYA sees this decision as a clear testament to Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu’s unwavering dedication to ensuring the NPP’s success in the upcoming elections.

The executives and entire membership of Patriotic Youth Alliance (PYA) celebrates Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu for taking such a decisive and matured decision to save our party at this crucial time, this is a sign of a true Unifier and a Matured leader.
