Tanzanian Premier League giant Young Africans SC have officially confirmed the signing of Ghanaian forward Hafiz Konkoni Wontah ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
The attacker has moved from Ghana Premier League club Bechem United FC to the 2023 CAF Confederation Cup finalist to continue with his development at the club.
He has been signed to replace Fiston Kalala Mayele who has joined Egyptian side, Pyramids FC after a successful campaign with the Tanzanian Premier League champions.
He scored 15 goals in 29 games for the Hunters during the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League seasons and was among the best players in the country, earning a Black Stars call-up.
Konkoni signed a two-year deal with the club after impressing the technical team and undergoing a successful medical test.
