Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan says the Ghana Premier League is full of quality players amidst calls by the public for a Black Stars call-up for the domestic players.
The former Liberty Professionals FC and Legon Cities FC striker believes the Ghana top-flight league is full of quality players.
According to him, though he’s not familiar with the players in the Ghana Premier League, he still believes there’s a lot of good players on the local scene.
Nonetheless, the Ghana legend believes there’s still room for improvement in the players.
In an interview with Asempa FM, he stated, “I observe the Ghana Premier League from a distance because I’m not familiar with most of the players.”
“There is quality in the Ghana Premier League, but I think there is still room for improvement”.
