Ghana’s Black Meteors on Monday, November 4, 2019 departed Ghana for Egypt.
The national Under-23 team would be participating in this year’s CAF U23 Cup of Nations.
Ghana beat North African side Algeria in the playoffs to secure their spot in the tournament which kicks off in Egypt this weekend.
The new Ghana FA president and some Executive Council members escorted the team at the airport before their departure.
Ghana is in the same group as host nation Egypt, Mali and African giants Cameroon.
