The Ghanaian versatile midfielder came from the bench to open his account for Palace this season against at Turf Moor.
Wilfried Zaha broke the virginity of the game two minutes into first half stoppage time to give the away side the advantage going into the break.
The Ghanaian entered the fray 69 minutes into the match to replace English winger Andros Townsend and capitalized on a poor defensive error from the home team’s defense to score his first league goal in Crystal Palace colours this season nine minutes after his introduction to make it 2-0 to the Eagles.
Crystal Palace won their third away win in seven games to move above Manchester United to 10th place on the league table.
