Video: Watch Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp’s intelligent goal for Crystal Palace in Premier League


Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp scored for Crystal Palace FC in the English League on Saturday afternoon at the Selhurst Park against West Ham United FC.


The former Premier League winner with Leicester City FC, Schlupp’s goal was the third for the Red and Blue Eagles as they won 4-3 at the Selhurst Park in London.


He played full throttle for Roy Hudgson’s team in their hard earned but thoroughly deserved comeback win at home to inconsistent West Ham United FC side.



The Ghanaian, on Saturday afternoon was among those who found the back of the net for his team as they came from behind to pick valuable three points in the English Premier League.


Tomas Soucek broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after just nine minutes into the game with a nice goal.


On the 15th minute mark, Ghana’s Jordan Ayew struck for the home team to restore parity with a fine finish to make the score one all.

Ivorian international, Wilfred Zaha turn the game on its head when he scored after 20 minutes to make it 2-1 to the home side with a good goal.



Ten mminutes later, Schlupp found his name on the scorers sheet with a cool and intelligent goal to make it 3-1 on the half hour mark before Michail Antonio struck for West Ham to make it 3-2 at half time.


Ebere chi Eze scored fromages the spot for Crystal Palace FC in the second half with Naif Aguerd scoring for West Ham United FC too.


The final score was 4-3 to Jeffrey Schlupp’s Crystal Palace FC.


The 30-year-old Ghanaian midfielder has three goals and one assist now in 33 Premier League games this season.
