Medeama SC head coach Augustine Evans Adotey says he can lead the team to beat the likes of Egyptian giant Al Ahly, Moroccan powerhouse Wydad Casablanca and the likes.
The gaffer says he’s capable of beating any giant on the Africa continent and is aiming to reach the group stages of the 2023-24 CAF Champions League.
He led the Yellow and Mauves to their first ever Ghana Premier League trophy on Sunday when they beat Tamale City FC at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.
The gaffer in an interview was confident his side can beat any giants in the competition.
“Why not? We can also go far in the competition. We can emulate what Ahly and the rest have done in the competition,” the former Karela United coach told Asempa FM.
“We are not scared by any of these clubs. It is all about the game plan and commitment of your players.
“So we are not thinking about whether it is Al Ahly or whichever club. We just believe that we can do it,” he added.
