2024 Olympics Games Qualifiers: Guinea 0 – 3 Ghana – Black Queens secure comfortable win in Conakry


Ghana’s Black Queens produced a wonderful performance against Guinea with a 3-0 away win in the first leg of the Paris 2024 Olympic first-round qualifiers in Conakry on Friday, July 14, 2023.

Swift attacker Vivian Adjei Konadu pounced on an error by the Guinean goalkeeper to put Ghana ahead in the 19th minute of the match following a blistering start to the game.

The Queens scored again through Priscilla Adubea to double Ghana’s advantage in the 27th minute to make it 2-0 at the interval.


The home team were reduced to 10-women when Camara Manet was handed her marching orders after a second bookable offense.


Hasaacas Ladies star player Evelyn Badu connected with ease to a neat cross from Mary Amponsah for Ghana’s third goal to put the game to bed.

The match ended with Ghana carrying a 3-0 advantage into the second leg scheduled for the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
