Afcon 2019: Black Stars land in Egypt

The Black Stars have landed safely in Cairo, Egypt for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana have been in their training base in Dubai for the past two weeks and left for the northern African country Friday, June 21, 2019.

Ghana will base in Ismailia for the group stages and will battle for a place in the knockouts in Group F alongside Benin, Guinea-Bissau and Cameroon.

Head Coach Kwesi Appiah and his charges will begin the quest to end Ghana’s 37 years AFCON trophy drought against the Squirrels of Benin on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Ismailia Stadium.
