Former Ghana Black Stars striker Baba Armando Adamu has tasked the players of the national team to go all out in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).

Armando believes there is pure quality in the team and if each player decides to play his heart out, they is no way the trophy will elude Ghana.

“For the quality in the Ghana team, no doubt about that. We have Gyan, Andre, Asamoah, Wakaso, Jordan, Partey, Baba, Atsu and others who are playing at the top level. These are players who can walk into the starting lineup of any team,” Armando told Dailymailgh.com.

“The players just need to be focused, they must fight for Ghana, they must play like their whole life depends on the game. I see no reason why we cannot win.

“When they came here to Dubai, I went to visit them. You can see the players and the technical team everyone is in high spirit and is ready. My prayers are with them and I wish them well once again,” he stressed.

Armando who scored for Ghana against Zimbabwe the last time the AFCON was held in Egypt in 2006 is currently the Technical Director of Forceis FC which is a lower-tier club in Dubai, UAE.
