Big Relief for Ghana as star striker Jordan Ayew has tested negative for Covid-19 making him available for the Black Stars game in Abuja.

The Crystal Palace FC star was left out of Crystal Palace squad for their FA Cup fixture last weekend after testing positive for COVID-19

According to the Ghana Football Association communication director, Henry Asante, the son of Maestro Abedi Ayew has recovered from the disease.

“Jordan Ayew has tested negative for Covid and will join the team later this week in Kumasi ahead of the Nigeria game,” GFA communications director Henry Asante Twum revealed on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Black Stars arrived in Kumasi with Twenty-six players excluding only Jordan Ayew.

Ghana will start training in Kumasi on Tuesday and will be lodging at the Noda Hotel.

The second leg will come off at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
