Black Stars’ Jonathan Mensah wins best defender award

Black Stars center back Jonathan Mensah has been voted the best defender for MLS side Columbus Crew in the US.

The former Ashantigold and Ghana Under-20 defender has been consistent for the US-based club.
The 29-year-old has made 24 league appearances this season.

Mensah joined the MLS side on a permanent deal in 2017 and has been one of the most consistent players for his side.
