The Teranga Lions of Senegal defeated the Bereas from Madagascar to set up a tasty clash against the Desert Foxes of Algeria.
The West African country stopped the Madagascar team to end their fairy tale story at the semi-final of the CAF Africa Nations Championship.
Pape Diallo scored the opening goal of the match to win it for the Teranga Lions to take them to the final of the ongoing 2022 CHAN Tournament ongoing in Algeria on Tuesday night.
Madagascar had been great at the tournament before their game today where the Senegalese adopted a tough tackling strategy to disrupt their game plan and win the game 1-0.
Senegal will take on Algeria in the final of the 2022 CHAN tournament on Saturday with Madagascar and Niger battling for a third spot.
