Ghana has confirmed 542 coronavirus related deaths after nine additional fatalities, health officials have said.
This was contained in the Ghana Health Service’s updated report showing the country’s COVID-19 status as of February 11, 2021.
The report said out of 837, 925 samples tested, 76, 492 have returned positive since the outbreak of the disease in March 2020.
The current number of active cases stands at 7,850 after 656 new cases were reported as of February 11, 2021.
There are at least 68,100 patients who have recovered and or discharged.
