Fraud alert: Ignore fake recruitment email from ‘my office’ – Samira

The office of Ghana’s Second Lady has issued an alert concerning a scammer sending fake, phishing and spoof emails claiming to be recruiting UN Music Ambassadors from her outfit.

The office has distanced itself from such emails, warning people to disregard such mails because her office is not undertaking such exercise.

The public should note that any official electronic mail coming from the Second Lady’s Office would bear her official domain, a statement from her office said.

It has come to the attention of the Office of the Second Lady, that some electronic mail addresses purporting to represent the Second Lady, Hajia Mrs Samira Bawumia is recruiting “Music Ambassadors” for the United Nations.

The office wishes to announce, for the information of the general public, that, Mrs Samira Bawumia is NOT undertaking any form of recruitment. The official e-mail address and handles of the Second Lady are;
