In a bid to fortify their diplomatic relations, Ghana and Malawi have recently sealed a visa waiver agreement encompassing ordinary, diplomatic, and service passport holders.

Effective since February 7, 2024, the pact aims to amplify the ongoing cooperation and strengthen ties between the two nations.

Issuing a statement on March 21, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration elaborated that under this agreement, travelers are granted permission to transit, exit, and stay in either country for a maximum duration of ninety (90) days within a calendar year, provided they refrain from seeking employment.

The public is urged to take cognizance of this significant development in the realm of visa regulations.
