Ghanaian young midfielder Mathew Anim Cudjoe scores for Dundee in big win over Arbroath

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC wonder-kid Mathew Anim Cudjoe was on target for Dundee United FC in the Scottish Championship on Friday evening.

The Ghanaian international came from the bench to feature for his team as they beat their opponents 6-0 at home to stretch their lead at the top of the league table after 10 matches with 25 points.

Louis Mault and Ross Docherty scored on the seven and fourteenth minutes respectively to make it 2-0 to the home team under the first quarter of the encounter.

Kai Fotheringman on the 47th minute of the match and just two minutes to the end of the opening 45 minutes of the match got his name on the score sheet for the hosts who took a 3-0 into the first half break.

Twelve minutes into the second half of the match, Tony Wat made it 4-0 before Mault grabbed his second on the day two minutes after the hour mark to make it 5-0 to the home team.

Cudjoe was then brought on to take the place of Watt, who scored the fourth goal and also announced his presence to the fans with an 87th minute strike to make it 6-0 at full time.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian versatile player has four goals and two assists in seven matches this season in the Scottish Championship for the Orange and Black outfit.
