Ghanaian striker Abdul Majeed Waris netted his first league goal for Strasbourg at Toulouse on Wednesday evening.

The marksman joined the French side in the just ended winter transfer window from Portuguese giants FC Porto.

The 28-year-old Ghanaian came off the bench to snatch the win for the visitors.

The former FC Nantes hit man came from the bench 17 minutes to full time and scored two minutes after his introduction.

Strasbourg continued their unbeaten run in six games in the league against Toulouse.

The visitors occupy ninth position after their win while Toulouse remaining bottom of the French Ligue 1 after 23 games with just 13 points.
