GPL: How the table looks after seven games


Ghanaian top-flight league entered week seven over the weekend at various league centres across the country.

Leaders Berekum Chelsea lost for the first time in the league this season to regional rivals Bechem United and also lost the top spot to close rivals Aduana Stars.

Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Dreams FC after their painful defeat to arch rivals Asante Kotoko a week ago.

Kotoko came back from a goal down to pick a vital point against Liberty Professionals at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Aduana Stars piped Medeama with a hard fought 1-0 home win to leapfrog league leaders Berekum Chelsea.

Ashantigold SC recorded a slim win over bottom side Ebusua Dwarfs to bounce back to winning ways after suffering a consecutive defeats to Chelsea and Medeama respectively to leave the Crabs languishing at the bottom of the league table.
