Great News: Ghana captain Andre Ayew joins French Ligue 1 side Le Havre

Ghana’s Black Stars captain André Ayew (33) has been unveiled as a new Le Havre AC player on Saturday evening.

Ayew has been a free agent since a short stint at Premier League side Nottingham Forest came to an end in the summer.

Le Havre confirmed the signing of Ayew later on Saturday and he is was presented presented to the Stade Océane ahead of the Ligue 1 encounter against AS Monaco.

Les Ciel et Marine are currently seventh in Ligue 1 following their promotion from Ligue 2. Ayew will compete with Lille OSC loanee Mohamed Bayo for a starting spot in the team.
