Black Satellites coach Yaw Preko believes players he selected for the 2019 All Africa Games to be staged in Morocco are the best available materials in the country presently.
“I picked the players based on performance and availability as well looking at the circumstances at the moment,” Preko told Dailymailgh.com on Monday.
“These are the best available materials we have and we shouldn’t forget that this was a tournament for the Black Meteors which was later pushed on the Under-20 team,” Preko added.
According to the former Black Stars striker, he picked the best players available for selection due to limited time frame afforded to him to prepare a team for such a tournament.
The former Hearts of Oak assistant coach believes his team will be able to face any team in the tournament.
The Black Satellites are expected to leave Ghana for Morocco tomorrow or Wednesday for the tournament.
