Asante Kotoko’s Burkinabe import Sogne Yacouba has thrown his weight behind head coach Kjetil Zachariassen for his choice of selection for the crunch encounter against Etoile Sportive du Sahel on Saturday.
“Asante Kotoko is not or does not belong to me neither does it belong to my dad nor mother”, Yacouba wrote on his Twitter page.
According to him, coach Zachariassen has every right to choose whoever he wants and do not have any objection to the choices of the former Ashantigold technical man.
Yacouba was left out of the travelling squad of Kumasi Asante Kotoko which departed Ghana for Tunisia on Thursday.
“I wish the entire team good luck in their clash with Etoile and I think that we have to make this opportunity count as we aim for qualification in Tunisia”, he added.
