Telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana has reiterated its commitment to raise the next generation of entrepreneurs through the Springboard Road Show.

This, the telco is doing through its long-standing partnership with Legacy and Legacy, organisers of the Springboard Road Show.

The event which has over the years, taken place at the Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC) in Kumasi engages young people in mostly the second cycle and tertiary institutions, businesses and prospective job seekers.

Speaking to the Patricia Ama Bonsu on Saturday, the Acting General Manager of MTN, Northern Business District, Mrs. Adwoa Baah Afrakoma Obeng stated that: “For MTN, we believe so much in collaborations and that the collaboration between MTN and Springboard has been close to 11 years now and one would wonder why are we still even in it? It is the fact that we recognize that the Springboard programme reiterates our mission of making customers’ lives, a whole lot brighter.”

She added: “The other bit, is our vision of delivering a bold, new digital world and if you look at the technology bit Springboard adds to their presentation and the kind of entrepreneurial skills that they offer, one would agree that currently, if you need to run a shop, you don’t necessarily need brick and mortar because most businesses are all online now.”

MTN Ghana, being a market leader in the telecom industry has provided a platform of countless innovative, digital products and services, where businesses, existing and prospective customers can take advantage of, in developing their talents and potential, growing their brands and making their lives better.

Mrs. Afrakoma Obeng further admonished the participants to identify and align with mentors who can help shape their goals in academia, career, business and other future aspirations.

She is of the belief, that this will guide the youth in not making mistakes, forebearers made.

On her part, Co-founder and Executive Director of Springboard Roadshow, Comfort Ocran, challenged the youth to read wide, explore and concentrate fully on their chosen professional paths with dedication and principles.
