Official: Tanko names Meteors XI for Cameroon clash

Ghana’s Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko has named his first 11 for the game against Cameroon.

The national Under-23 team will begin their campaign in the CAF U23 Cup of Nations this evening in Egypt at 8pm.

Ghana is yet to participate in the world Olympics games since 2004 in Athens, Greece.

Coach Tanko and his charges would be hoping for a change of fortune in this year’s tournament as they aim to send the Ghana Olympics games team to the competition for the first time in 14 years.
