A fetish priestess has been picked up by the Ghana Police Service in connection with the killing of the 10-year-old boy at Kasoa in the Central Region.

The suspect who is yet to be named was arrested Amanase, near Suhum in the Eastern Region following intelligence, the police in the Central Region said in a terse message.

It is gathered that her docket has been prepared and sent to the Headquarters of the Criminal Investigations Department in Accra for further action.

It would be recalled that two teenagers, Felix Nyarko and Nicholas Kini were arrested by the Kasoa Divisional Police for allegedly killing a 10-year-old boy for money rituals.

The deceased, Ishmael Mensah was lured by the suspects into an uncompleted building and smashed his head with a club and cement blocks killing him instantly.

Ishamael’s death shocked inhabitants of Lamptey Mills who are calling on authorities to bring the suspects to justice.

Both suspects are facing the Ofaakor Court which has since remanded them to reappear on April 20, 2021.
