Trabzonspor were priced out of Amartey deal

Trabzonspor had a late bid to sign Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey turned down by Leicester City on Monday.

Dailymailgh.com understands that the Turkish outfit made a late one million Pounds bid to sign the versatile player but the Foxes refused as it did not meet their expectations.

Trabzonspor signed former Chelsea star Mikel Obi as a free agent this summer, but they were looking for another enforcer after the experience Nigerian began to struggle in all their games.

The former Turkish champions will make an improved bid for Amartey in the winter transfer window.
