Uncle Ebo Whyte’s ‘Comeback’ play to stream for free on July 26

Ghana’s foremost theatre house, Roverman Productions, is set for Uncle Ebo Whyte’s “Comeback” play ,which will be aired for free.

The play is written and directed by Ghanaian playwright Uncle Ebo Whyte who is also the creative head and lead writer at Roverman productions.

This is said to be the production’s second virtual play which tells the story of a man who after working hard abroad and sending money home for his family to set up businesses for him, returns to find his brother living a life of luxury with nothing set aside for him.

The Come back is a story of a heartbreak, tenacity and determination.

“It tells us that nothing is ever as it seems, and the sun always shines at the end of the storm,” the award-winning playwright is quoted as saying.

However, due to the restrictions of social distancing protocols put in place so far as the COVID-19 pandemic is related, the play will be streamed live via Uncle Ebo’s YouTube channel at 6pm prompt on 26,July, 2020.
