Ghanaian giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko SCs Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Nana Yaw Amponsah believes the club is still in the fight for the league title.

He says until the end of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League season, they are going to give their all to defend the title.

Kotoko are locked on the sixth position on the league table and have struggled to pick up decent points since the sacking of Seydou Zerbo with four games left but the CEO remains confident on winning the league trophy.

“We will continue to fight until the end. The bottom line is that we cannot win every year,” he said to Joy Sports.

“Hearts won the league two years ago, last season they were sixth. We won last year [but] this season we are struggling. That is the nature of sports. So for us, we will continue to fight till the end.”

Kotoko will be hosted by Kotoku Royals in the matchday 31 games at the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu.
