AFCON Qualifiers: ‘The game will be tough’ – Ghana coach Chris Hughton on Madagascar cliffhanger

Ghana’s Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton is anticipating a tough task against the Barea of Madagascar on Sunday, June 18 in Antananarivo in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

 

 

Ghana nneeds a win to secure their place in the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament which will be held in Ivory Coast next year January.

 

“We have to prepare for what we think will be a difficult game. One thing that I have learnt since I have been involved is that there are no easy games”, he stated.

 

“Madagascar have had a very difficult group games so far but they want to do their very best they can in their last two games because they still have a possibility”, he added.

 

“So we are just preparing the heat we can for what we think we be a tough game”, Chris Hughton told the press ahead of Sunday’s game.

 

Ghana will play at the next total energies Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast next year January with a win over Madagascar on Sunday.
