Cameroon coach Song denies Kotoko’s Mbella Etouga a chance to ‘dance’ as he drops him from Lions squad

Ghana Premier League leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko topsman Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga has been dropped from Cameroon squad for their AFCON 2023 qualifying matches.

The striker had earlier been invited by Coach Regobert Song in the team to face Kenya and Burundi respectively in June.

The 20-year-old is the most prolific in the Ghana top-flight league and has been in a dazzling form for the Porcupine Warriors scoring 19 goals as the Porcupine Warriors comfortably sit on top of the Premier League table.

Mbella and his strike partner Mfegue have been great signings for the Porcupine Warriors.

The youngster received an earlier notice that he had been included in the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon squad.

Unfortunately for the Youngster, Song has decided not to dance with the Kotoko player and has since dropped him from the team.
