Kumasi Asante Kotoko got their second win of the ongoing 2023-24 Ghana Premier League season with a hard earned 1-0 victory at home to Aduana Stars FC.
The Reds beat Aduana Stars FC 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi with a narrow victory after dominating most of the play against the Green and Yellow outfits.
Kalo Ouattara’s first half goal was enough to get all three points for the home team who got their first home win on the season in three matches.
The Porcupine Warriors came close to scoring a another goal in the second half when Enock Morrison strike went just over the crossbar.
Aduana failed to give Kotoko any stiff opposition as the host made it two successive wins in two matches in the Premier League.
Kotoko will face regional rivals Nations FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese next weekend.
