Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams was on target for Athletic Bilbao as he grabbed his tenth goal of the 2022-23 season in the Spanish La Liga.
The Ghanaian international needed just five minutes to put his team infront with a beautiful strike on the 5th minute mark.
He headed home Oscar De Marcos cross from the center of the box into the bottom left corner to make it a perfect start for the home team after just five minutes.
His younger brother Nico Williams was pivotal for the home team and was a constant threat to the away team’s defenders and was Yellowcarded in the first half.
Williams goal was all his team needed to have their noses infront at the break.
Five minutes after the break, Jorgen Strand Larsen grabbed the equalizer for the away team with 40 minutes left to play.
Inaki Williams, four minutes after his team conceded the equalizer, set up Alex Berenguer to score the home team’s second to restore Athletic Bilbao’s lead.
The 28-year-old Ghanaian forward has ten goals and three assists in 32 games for the Red and Blacks outfit this season in the Spanish La Liga.
