Hearts 1 – 0 King Faisal: Rainbow Boys deepen Insha Allah Lads woes

Accra Hearts of Oak SC deepened the woes of Kumasi King Faisal FC on Sunday afternoon in the Werk 15 of the Ghana Premier League in Accra.

Hearts pipped the Green and Whites boys to return to winning ways following their recent defeat to Karela United FC.

Striker Kwadwo Obeng Jnr scored the only goal for the Rainbow Boys as they beat the Insha Allah lads in a highly contested match on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Hearts returned to winning ways with a narrow victory a week after losing to Karela United FC at the CAM Park in Anyinase.

This is the six win of the 2021-22 season in the Ghana Premier League for the defending champions after 14 matches.

Hearts of Oak SC are 10 points behind leaders and their arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC who are top of the league table after 14 matches with 33 points.

Hearts will battle their city rivals, Accra Great Olympics FC next week in the Ga-Mantse derby.
