Inter Allies lost 1-2 to Medeama SC on Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League.
The Cappelli Boys suffered a slim home defeat to wounded Medeama side who were playing without their head coach at the touchline for a second game running due to illness.
Youngster Nana Kofi Babil struck the Yellow and Mauves in front on the 15th minutes to unsettle the organized home side.
The first half ended 1-0 to the visitors.
Goal machine Prince Opoku Agyemang made it two to the good to the away side three minutes after the hour mark.
In form Inter Allies captain Victorien Adebayor reduced the deficit for the host in the 89th minute but that proved to be a little too late to earn the host a point.
The Mauves moves up the ladder with their impressive 2-1 away win.
