The ruling New Patriotic Party is warning all serving officers to desist from endorsing any presidential aspirant in the race to lead the party to the 2024 general elections.
A statement dated August 5, 2022, and signed by the General Secretary of the party, Justin Kodua Frimpong said the attention of NEC has been drawn to a viral video that captures the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, Mr. Bernard Antwi -Boasiako openly declaring his support for one of the party’s presidential hopefuls.
The statement added that the General Secretary extended an invitation to Mr. Antwi-Boasiako and engaged him on the need for officers of the party at all levels, to desist from such conduct.
