Ghanaian striker, Charles Sarpong was on target for Chicago Fire FC in the MLS against DC United over the weekend.

The Ghana attacker netted the first goal of the match after three minutes with a powerful strike inside the box following a free kick from Álvaro Medran.

On the stroke of half time, right-back Boris Sekulic made it two goals to the good for the host before the interval.

Eleven minutes from the break, Jonathan Bornstein scored an own goal to reduce the deficit for the struggling visitors.

Chicago Fire FC won the game with a 2-1 score line.

Sarpong, 31, has banged in two goals in seven matches this campaign in the American Major League Soccer.
