Ghanaian forward Ernest Nuamah showcased his scoring prowess once again in Olympique Lyon’s recent match against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the French Ligue 1.

Starting for Lyon in their 30th round encounter of the league, Nuamah played as a winger and made a significant impact on the game. In the 37th minute, he skillfully maneuvered past defenders and unleashed a powerful long-range shot into the bottom right corner of the net, scoring his third goal of the season.

Despite Nuamah’s impressive goal, Lyon faced a tough challenge as PSG dominated the match. PSG quickly took the lead with an early goal scored by Nemanja Matic in the 3rd minute, followed by Lucan Beraldi’s strike just three minutes later to make it 2-0. Goncalo Ramos added two more goals for PSG, securing a convincing 4-1 victory.

PSG’s win further solidified their position as league leaders, sitting comfortably at the top of the table with 66 points from 29 games. They maintain an 11-point lead over second-placed Monaco.

On the other hand, Lyon experienced their first defeat in seven games, currently occupying the eighth position on the table. Despite the loss, they remain hopeful of securing a European spot for the next season, having accumulated 41 points from 30 games.
