Ghanaian coach CK Akonnor shortlisted for Guinea job

Coach CK Akonnor joins Claudio Ranieri in the race to become Guinea coach after he submitted his application for the vacant job.

The former Black Stars captain has been without a job after leaving Asante Kotoko earlier this year.

CK Akonnor has been shortlisted for the vacant position of Guinea national coach after officials deemed his application appropriate and qualified for the job.

The former Ashantigold SC and Hearts of Oak coach was among 87 applicants for the job and is among 17 coaches shortlisted to be interviewed by the Guinean Football Federation for the National Team job.
